Most protective equipment ends up unused — not because it doesn't work, but because it's too heavy and too visible to be part of an ordinary day.
So we developed it the other way round. 1.3 kg, thin enough to sit flat under a shirt, small enough to live in a backpack or a glove compartment. Certified ballistic and stab protection, developed and produced in our own facility in Slovakia.

Most protective vests are worn on the day someone expects trouble. The problem is that nobody knows which day that is.
VEP LITE weighs 1.3 kg and covers the vital zones — nothing more. It fits under a shirt, adds no bulk, and asks nothing of you. That's the entire point. The vest that protects you is the one you're actually wearing.

VEP LITE protects the heart, lungs and stomach with certified soft ballistics — front and back, identically — at 1.3 kg. Thin enough to sit flat under a shirt. Light enough that you stop noticing it before the morning is over.
Ballistic and stab protection in one panel. NIJ IIIA stops handgun rounds up to .44 Magnum, and the same panel is tested for stab resistance to ČSN 39 5360, class TON II. Most concealable vests give you one or the other. In Europe, where a knife is the far more likely threat, that combination is the whole point.
That performance comes from three decades of work. VEP has been manufacturing protective equipment in Slovakia since 1992, using ballistic materials from TEIJIN Aramid, the world leader in soft ballistics. Every panel is made in our own facility.

DEPROSA is the brand under which VEP sells its concealed ballistic vest internationally. The name stands for what the company does — DEvelopment, PROduction, SAles.
The product is developed, tested and manufactured by VEP in Slovakia. DEPROSA is how it reaches customers and retail partners outside our home market.
